The Project
In an effort to meet the market demands of today’s seniors, Havenwood-Heritage Heights decided to redevelop the entire north end of their Heritage Heights Campus. The site design includes the creation of small pods within a larger campus to improve wayfinding, reduce traffic, and promote community among the residents. Special site features include multiple outdoor gathering spaces, raised gardens, and an extensive walkway system to connect all residents to community buildings and outdoor amenities. The project includes 34 new, single story, independent housing units, including 6 single family homes, and 14 duplexes. Four building unit types were designed to allow options for incoming residents. Special features include open kitchen/dining concept, master bedroom suites, private garages, and full basements for storage and future fit-up.
