The Hyder Family Hospice House is Southeast New Hampshire’s first free–standing hospice care facility. Owned and operated by Seacoast Hospice, this facility offers 14 resident rooms with adjoining family suites, shared kitchen areas, a meditation room, and public areas designed to provide comfort to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses. It has achieved its primary design objective: making residents “feel at home.”

Lavallee Brensinger Architects delivered thoughtful design solutions, aimed at providing spaces for expert care, comfort, peace, and safety—with optimal ease of use by residents, families, staff, and caregivers. Modern technologies are gracefully integrated throughout all the programmatic areas.
