The Project
Brattleboro Retreat retained Lavallee Brensinger Architects for major renovations to the Tyler building including a cafeteria and pharmacy on the ground floor, and a 14-bed state inpatient facilities on the fourth floor, to house patients from the Vermont State Psychiatric Hospital in Waterbury that closed due to damage from Tropical Storm Irene.
The renovations are helping Brattleboro Retreat create a safe and healing environment that is respectful to patients, staff, and families.
