The Project
The Lavallee Brensinger team partnered with Freeman French Freeman to bring a residential focus to this State of Vermont Secured Recovery Residence, which provides the state with a continuum of care for the most acute care patients that are working to get back to their community. The program focuses on offering a secured step-down setting from the VT State Hospital. From the skills kitchen and dining room within the hearth of the home, there are connections to nature. The group gathering, wellness center, art therapy, greenhouse, and serenity rooms provide choices for treatment programs, while the 16 private bedrooms offer a place of private reflection.
