The Project
This project provides for the replacement of the existing four operating rooms, and pre-post-operative patient care areas, as well as the existing central sterile processing areas in renovations and new construction at the existing Adirondack Medical Center. Upon completion, the new Perioperative department spaces will consist of six operating rooms (including a Hybrid OR), three procedure rooms (GI and Minor Procedures), 21 Pre/Post-Op rooms, ten PACU bays, and clinical support spaces. The new central sterile processing will consist of new decontamination, sterile processing, sterile storage and staff spaces. The project also includes a new MRI Suite.
