The Project
This award-winning 8-bed pediatric unit was completely renovated to create a child and family-friendly environment. The imagery of the new interior is based on natural themes: a waterfall and brook; a canopy of trees and clouds. Bright colors and illustrations are used to infuse energy and further de-institutionalize the space. The rooms are designed to support families with sleeping accommodations, built-in storage, and other amenities. Most staff and clinical aspects are hidden from patient view.
