St. Mary's Regional Medical Center
New Infusion and Oncology Center

Healthcare:
Ambulatory | Medical Office Building

To allow for expansion of other internal departments, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center needed to relocate their medical oncology / infusion suite. The previously completed masterplan called for the suite to reside across the street in a new, standalone building. After careful review and analysis of hospital operations, patient flow, and construction costs, Lavallee Brensinger Architects suggested the center be relocated as an addition to the hospital. This recommendation saved millions of dollars in hospital operations and infrastructure construction while providing easier patient access.

Immediately adjacent to the existing Pharmacy on Level 1, the new Infusion and Oncology center consists of 13 infusion stations. These stations are set up to offer varying levels of patient privacy. Level 2 consists of a 9-room oncology clinic along with provider workstations.
