The Project
Building 13 is the home of a new nanoparticle research lab as part of the Department of Material Science and Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Featuring the latest in scientific research of inorganic nanoparticles and organic polymers in the synthesis of materials for controllable optical, magnetic, and electrical properties. Extensive Building Information Modeling was used for rapid development of accurate options for scope understanding and cost estimating in order to facilitate a rapid deployment schedule.
