The Project

Comprehensive renovations were made to Murkland Hall, the oldest building on the UNH Durham campus. The main circulation corridors, Dean’s reception and office suite, and auditorium were all restored to their original grandeur. Classrooms, systems, and technologies were modernized and a new, tiered lecture room was added. New elevator access was integrated across all four levels. On the exterior, brick was re-pointed and historically appropriate windows installed.
