Library
The library Trustees began their mission for a new library with a community survey to find out what library services the Epping residents and patrons needed. From a list of over a dozen proposals, the Trustees hired Lavallee Brensinger Architects to propose design options; including two addition and renovation concepts, as well as a new library option. After review of the cost implications of each option, and its return on the community’s investment, it was determined that a new library was the most cost-effective; in both up-front costs and future operational costs.
The new library design includes:
- ADA accessibility
- Community room for activities and meetings
- Small group rooms for social engagements and workspace
- Dedicated children’s space for arts and story hours
- Wireless technology
