The Project
The University of Vermont engaged Lavallee Brensinger Architects  to program and design a new, state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Laboratory for the College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, The University of Vermont Medical Center, and the Vermont Air and Army National Guard. The goals of the new Center are to provide training opportunities for students and seasoned healthcare professionals. Through well-founded simulation principals, the Center will allow learners to achieve clinical skills competencies, improve patient safety and patient care, and measure improvement in clinical performance as a result of simulation encounters.
