Sanborn Regional High School
Multi-Purpose Auditorium and Performing Arts Center

K-12 Education:
Performing Arts

Sanborn School District retained Lavallee Brensinger Architects to design their new high school. The program included a 600 seat multi-purpose auditorium space for a variety of uses including: assemblies, performing arts (theater and music), and large lectures. The back-stage support areas included spaces which are shared by the arts and building trades departments for set construction. Seating included table arms to provide flexibility during lecture use of the space. The project was identified by the Governor’s Commission on Accessibility as an exemplary facility for those with mobility impairments.
