Leigh Sherwood joins Lavallee Brensinger Architects as Education Studio Design Principal

As a regional leader in the design of interdisciplinary learning and collaborative educational environments, Lavallee Brensinger Architects is pleased to announce Leigh Sherwood AIA, LEED® AP has joined the firm as a Design Principal. A graduate of Yale University, Leigh has more than 30 years of experience on public and private educational projects including: academic buildings, science labs, visual & performing arts centers, and athletic facilities. Leigh takes a holistic approach to design and strongly believes that success begins with listening. “Listening is an inclusive process which helps discover who the client is, helps uncover the client’s goals, and helps to evaluate all available options so that we arrive at the very best solution together.” Leigh’s Master Planning work ranges from educational space studies to unified campus plans throughout the Northeast.

Joining Leigh is Roger Williams University graduate, David Harris, Jr., RA, LEED® AP BD+C, as a Senior Project Manager. They have worked together for over 11 years, successfully completing numerous award-winning schools including the Quinn Middle School in Hudson, MA., with the MSBA. David is a talented technical architect versed in sustainable design, and is working on a variety of projects including the new $75M Morse High School in Bath, ME. David sees his role as the bridge and facilitator between the design team, the owner, and the construction team ensuring the design vision is fully implemented, on schedule and on budget.
