The Project
The completed 6th Circuit Probate Division Courthouse is 12,000 sf of repurposed administrative office space. Design goals included:
- Modernization
- Security
- Improved energy efficiency
- Sustainable Design
- Speech Privacy
The final design needed to respectfully convey the importance of the proceedings within. Sustainable features include: LED lighting, a continuous R-42 roof insulation system, and custom millwork repurposed from the US Bankruptcy Courthouse in Manchester, NH.
