The Project
Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) engaged Lavallee Brensinger Architects to provide creative design solutions that supported RRMC’s Master Planning goals and ongoing rebranding efforts.
The Central Registration/ Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Renovation project creatively accomplished all of the Master Plan Initiatives. The bold decision to relocate Central Registration to the South entrance of the hospital, and flip the entire department of DI, provided the opportunity to consolidate patient waiting and registration for out-patient lab services, Central Registration, and Diagnostic Imaging. The results included improved work flow efficiency, improved patient flow and increased patient satisfaction, reduction of redundant services and reduced public traffic.
