The Project
Wanting to improve patient access to Central Registration, Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) engaged Lavallee Brensinger to provide creative design solutions that also supported RRMC’s ongoing rebranding efforts. The proposed plan created a new entrance to Diagnostic Imaging (DI) and relocated/consolidated Central Registration with DI patient waiting.
To further streamline patient access, Interventional Radiology was relocated to the new imaging department, consolidating both services into a single location. Women’s Imaging was also consolidated, adding three new ultrasound rooms to the existing mammography and bone densitometry rooms. All five imaging rooms replaced existing analog x-ray equipment with new, digital models.
