The Project
This new medical facility offers a comfortable, “spa like” environment for patients, while cost effectively providing flexibility for expansion and / or re-configuration. This is accomplished through careful siting of the building to create views for orientation, clear plan layout, as well as calming finish materials. Site constraints necessitated the need for two levels, while maintaining connectivity and flow between all program elements. Large expanses of glass facilitate views to the outside and allow for abundant daylight. The program includes a central registration, pharmacy, ophthalmology shop and office, rehabilitation, community space, orthopedics, internal medicine, diagnostics, and space for visiting physicians.
