The Project
Directly influenced by rental car company participation, and concerns for equity, the new facility provides equal sales opportunities for all companies. The project scope consisted of: service counters, office support space, queuing, and lobby space.
The design solution, with a predetermined location, utilized existing infrastructure including: elevators, escalators, and the Pedestrian Bridge. Taking advantage of outdoor cover and indoor shelter, passengers can safely and comfortably traverse to the rental car facility, from the Terminal, in all types of weather. Most importantly, the resulting design is reflective of the existing airport design aesthetic.
