Comprehensive research lab utilization analysis and master plan of 700,000 sf of existing research program, spanning over two campuses were provided as part of this project. The study included the creation of “smart” 3D Building Information Modeling files that catalog each space based on campus, building, level, room number, square footage, department, Principal Investigator, bench length, and laboratory equipment. The initiative compares Dartmouth Medical School to national metrics of institutional peers, related to space and associated grant dollars.
